Lodging

Dependent on business requirements, traincrew may be required to lodge away from home (e.g. hotel).
Lodging turns will not exceed 5 days (6 nights).
For the first night of lodge, a minimum of 11 hours rest can apply between duties. Otherwise, 12 hours rest between duties applies for continuous lodging periods.
Lodge payments will not be paid to anyone 'in training'. If lodging is required as part of the training process to become competent, no lodge payment will be received until an individual is passed as competent.
Once competent and able to undertake a productive role, anyone rostered to training activities that require lodging will be treated as per any other lodging turn.
You cannot book on in your own time from lodge — transport must be provided to and from the lodge location.
